Nvidia to start employee-funded US political action committee

Nvidia, a leading tech company, is set to establish an employee-funded political action committee (PAC) in the United States, according to a source familiar with the plans. The committee, named NVPAC, aims to increase the company's influence on U.S. policy. This move follows Nvidia's establishment of PACs in the past, joining other tech giants such as Meta Platforms and Alphabet's Google in creating committees to spend money on election influence.

Two Nvidia executives, Gavin Sherry and Sundeep Madra, have previously contributed $443,000 to the Republican National Committee. The creation of NVPAC was first reported by Bloomberg Government, though Nvidia has declined to comment on the matter.
