Nvidia to start employee-funded US political action committee

Nvidia, the prominent tech company, will establish an employee-funded political action committee (PAC) to bolster its influence on U.S. policy, according to a source familiar with the matter. The committee, named NVPAC, will allow Nvidia employees to contribute their funds towards political candidates who align with the company's policy objectives.

This move aligns Nvidia with other tech giants like Meta Platforms and Alphabet’s Google, who have also recently set up PACs to spend money on influencing elections. Nvidia's executives, Gavin Sherry and Sundeep Madra, have already made donations to political groups and campaigns. Bloomberg Government initially broke the news of NVPAC's creation, but Nvidia has declined to comment on the development.
