Learn from experience, rep warns PH about depending on allies

DAP assemblyman S Preakas has warned the PH party about the dangers of being overly reliant on allies for support in government. Preakas believes that Pakatan Harapan should learn from past experiences where dependence on other parties led to problems. He cited instances where Barisan Nasional assemblymen withdrew their support for Aminuddin Harun in Negeri Sembilan, resulting in a state election loss for PH.

Preakas also referenced the "Sheraton Move" when Bersatu withdrew from the first Pakatan Harapan government. Currently, BN and PH are collaborating at the federal level, but Preakas emphasizes that PH should rely on its own strengths rather than depending on others. The Selangor assemblyman's remarks follow a Bersatu assemblyman's statement suggesting that it is not impossible for the party to support Amirudin Shari's administration until the end of its term.
