I bring 30 years of experience to make Dr Bawumia President – John Boadu

Former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu, is committed to leveraging 30 years of political and organizational expertise to assist NPP presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, in securing victory in the 2028 election. Boadu announced his intention to utilize his three decades of experience in party organization, communication, strategy, and discipline during a ceremony at the party's national headquarters in Accra on August 27.

The experienced politician outlined his vision for a robust party organization, capable of directly engaging with grassroots constituents and securing a parliamentary majority, which would be essential for the NPP's return to power. Boadu emphasized that under his leadership, the NPP would prioritize strengthening its structures at the constituency, electoral-area, and polling-station levels, allowing Dr Bawumia to concentrate on the national presidential campaign.

Boadu's strategy is intricately tied to Dr Bawumia's presidential aspirations, asserting that a strong parliamentary performance would create the necessary conditions for the NPP to win the election.
