FAAN denies ongoing recruitment drive, fake employment offer

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has refuted claims of an ongoing recruitment drive, rejecting a fraudulent "Letter of Provisional Offer of Employment" that has been disseminated by unauthorized entities. In a statement on X (formerly Twitter), FAAN affirmed that it is not presently engaged in any recruitment activities and has no affiliation with the purported employment letter or associated job offers.

The authority cautioned the public against falling prey to the deceitful recruitment scheme, advising against making payments or disclosing personal information to the perpetrators of the fraudulent offers. "FAAN categorically asserts that the Authority is not presently conducting any recruitment exercise and dissociates itself from this letter and any related employment offers," the statement emphasized.

Additionally, FAAN refuted allegations regarding the controversial N30,000 taxi fare at Lagos airports and cleared the path for Bolt to resume operations at such locations. The body urged the public to remain vigilant, verifying all recruitment-related information before taking any actions. FAAN reiterated that all genuine recruitment-related information would be communicated through its official channels.
