FAAN denies ongoing recruitment drive, fake employment offer

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has refuted claims of a continuous recruitment drive by unauthorised individuals purporting to represent the authority. In a statement on X, the FAAN clarified that it is currently not conducting any recruitment exercises and had no affiliation with the fake "Letter of Provisional Offer of Employment" circulating on social media.

The authority cautioned the public against engaging with these fraudulent recruitment schemes, urging them not to make payments or disclose personal information to those behind the false offers. FAAN emphasised that the organisation does not endorse the controversial N30,000 taxi rate at Lagos airports and has cleared Bolt to resume operations at these facilities.

The authority also advised Nigerians to exercise caution and verify all recruitment-related information through FAAN's official channels before taking any action. Members of the public were urged to remain vigilant, avoid responding to unauthorised employment offers, and protect themselves from potential financial or identity fraud.
