Denied Entry Into Township, Driver Mows Down Guard, Wife Injured In Indore

In the early hours of Wednesday, a heated argument over access to an uninhabited township erupted in the Lasudia police area of Indore, resulting in a horrific incident. A security guard, Dharmendra Malviya, was gravely injured when a speeding car deliberately collided with him and his wife, Jyoti Malviya, outside the society gates.

The victim, who worked at La Exotica, a township with many vacant plots, resided nearby with his family. The altercation began when Dharmendra asked the driver and his female companion to refrain from parking in front of the gate, leading to a quarrel. Dharmendra's uncle, Manohar, recounted that Raja, the suspect, slapped him before the victim called the owner, who advised handling the matter the following day.

Despite this, Raja returned and, in a fit of anger, intentionally ran over both Dharmendra and his wife. The couple was rushed to MY Hospital in critical condition, with Dharmendra succumbing to his injuries. Jyoti is currently receiving medical treatment. The police have filed a murder case against Raja and his companion, with three teams formed to apprehend the suspects, who remain at large.

Police are examining CCTV footage to identify and gather evidence. This incident echoes a similar case from March, where a woman software engineer was also deliberately run over by a speeding car in a well-to-do residential society under the same police station limits. The perpetrator and his father were arrested and booked for murder and attempted murder.
