Bayern Munich open to another Bundesliga loan for attacking prospect Arijon Ibrahimovic

Bayern Munich appears open to a Bundesliga loan opportunity for their young attacking prospect, Arijon Ibrahimovic. Club Board Member for Sport, Max Eberl, acknowledged during a recent press conference that regular playing time for the 20-year-old may be limited this season. While Werder Bremen has already shown interest, discussions have thus far only reached an exploratory stage.

Union Berlin is also rumored to have shown interest in the German youth international. Ibrahimovic, who returned to Munich following a successful loan spell with Heidenheim, extended his contract with Bayern through 2028. He received considerable playing time during pre-season, solidifying his position within coach Vincent Kompany's plans.

However, with the final days of the transfer window approaching, Eberl expressed that "things could become more difficult for him" in finding regular playing time. Despite this, Bayern remains open to a potential loan deal if an attractive offer comes along that benefits all parties involved. Ibrahimovic's versatility as a forward, both centrally and on the flank, provides Bayern with a different attacking profile behind their established starters, but competition from Luis Diaz, Serge Gnabry, and new arrival Ismael Saibari remains a concern.

Bayern has already resolved the future of two other young attackers: Wisdom Mike, who transferred to Belgian champions Club Brugge, and Felipe Chavez, who joined 1. FC Magdeburg on loan for the entire 2026/27 campaign.
