Asante Kotoko sign Cameroonian forward Solomon Nsoh Asaah

Asante Kotoko have secured Cameroonian forward Solomon Nsoh Asaah on a two-year deal before the 2026-27 Ghana Premier League season kicks off. The 21-year-old completed the transfer following a successful medical examination, moving from Cameroonian club As Fortuna. Nsoh impressed during his time at As Fortuna, tallying nine goals and providing three assists in 17 appearances, a performance that caught the attention of the national team selectors.

He has previously represented Cameroon at the Under-20 level and has recently been included in the Under-23 squad.

Primarily a centre-forward, Nsoh possesses the versatility to play on either wing, providing Asante Kotoko with added attacking options for the upcoming campaign. Speaking about the transfer, Nsoh emphasized the significance of the move, stating that it marks an important milestone in his career, particularly as he remains young.

He believes that age should not be a hindrance to success if one possesses the necessary talent. The coach has a clear plan for the team's playing style, and Nsoh feels well-prepared to contribute to the team's success this season. Nsoh will be assigned the number 23 shirt for the 2026-27 season.

Kotoko will commence their Ghana Premier League journey away to newly promoted Debibi United, aiming to make a strong showing in domestic football under the guidance of head coach Eric Tinkler.
