Alleima extends Airbus partnership for titanium tube supply

SANDVIKEN, Sweden - Aircraft manufacturer Airbus and Swedish supplier Alleima AB have extended their longstanding partnership, marking the longest commitment in their shared history. Alleima will now provide aerospace-grade titanium seamless tube solutions to Airbus, surpassing their previous deliveries of stainless steel tubes.

The agreement underscores the trust in Alleima's materials and reliability, as reported by the company's President, Carl von Schantz. Alleima, with a history of over 70 years in supplying aerospace-grade alloys and seamless tubes, manufactures these products at facilities in the United States, Germany, and China, with primary production at its integrated mill in Sandviken, Sweden.

Phil Cherrie, President of Alleima's Specialized division, emphasized that aircraft manufacturers rely on Alleima for advanced materials from dependable partners who can consistently deliver quality over time. As of 2025, Alleima employs approximately 6,800 people and generates revenues of about 19 billion Swedish kronor across 80 countries. The extended agreement does not detail specific financial terms or volume commitments.
