Air Arabia launches third Germany route from Sharjah with daily flights

Air Arabia has introduced a new daily non-stop flight from Sharjah International Airport to Düsseldorf, Germany, commencing on December 16, 2026. This marks the third German destination for the UAE-based budget carrier, following Munich and Frankfurt. The route will be served using Air Arabia's Airbus A320neo aircraft, which is known for its modern cabin and improved fuel efficiency.

Adel Al Ali, Group CEO of Air Arabia, emphasized that the new service to Düsseldorf is a significant step in the airline's expansion of its European network. The launch of the daily flights to Düsseldorf strengthens connectivity between the UAE and Germany, offering passengers more choices and convenient travel options. Al Ali stated that with three non-stop destinations in Germany, Air Arabia continues to enhance connectivity and deliver value-driven travel.

Düsseldorf Airport CEO Lars Redeligx expressed his enthusiasm for the new service, highlighting the strengthening of links between the German city and the Gulf region. He pointed out that the route caters to the demand from North Rhine-Westphalia and neighbouring regions in the Netherlands, as well as passengers looking to explore the Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.

The new daily service from Sharjah to Düsseldorf will be operated using the airline's Airbus A320neo aircraft, further contributing to Air Arabia's growing European network, which now includes Milan Bergamo, Vienna, Athens, Prague, Krakow, Warsaw Chopin, London Gatwick, Rome, Katowice, and Gdansk, in addition to Düsseldorf. The new Sharjah-Düsseldorf service officially begins on December 16, 2026.
