Actor Baba Johunomi battles cancer, advises fans not to ignore symptoms [VIDEO]

Veteran Nollywood actor Musiliu Dasofunjo, known as Baba Johunomi, has shared his prostate cancer battle with the public. In a video posted by fellow actor Kunle Afod on Facebook, Johunomi emphasized the importance of recognizing symptoms early to prevent the disease's progression. He explained that "it might not have gotten to this stage if I was aware of the symptoms earlier."

Johunomi noticed changes in his urine, including a splitting stream and spraying in multiple directions, but he dismissed it at the time. Eventually, he experienced difficulties urinating, which led him to seek medical attention. After undergoing various tests and scans, he was referred to the University College Hospital in Ibadan, where doctors advised removing part of his body to conduct further tests due to suspected cancer.

Despite his fears, Johunomi is determined to face his diagnosis head-on and avoid unnecessary surgeries.
