Ukrainian FP-1 drones hit major Lukoil refinery and Wildberries hub in Russia - video

On August 26, Ukraine launched FP-1 drones against two significant targets in Russia, striking an oil refinery and a logistics hub, Fire Point reported. The targeted Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez refinery, located in Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, is the country's largest refining facility, with an annual processing capacity of about 17 million metric tons of crude oil.

This makes it the fourth largest refining facility in Russia and the second in terms of total refining capacity across the nation. The Wildberries logistics hub in Kotovsk, Tambov Oblast, was also hit by the drones. The facility, spanning approximately 108,000 square meters, is designed to store up to 54 million retail merchandise units.

Tambov Oblast Governor Yevgeny Pervyshov confirmed the attack on the Wildberries fulfillment center. A fire erupted at the logistics center, engulfing an area exceeding 100,000 square meters. Wildberries representatives also confirmed the attack on their Kotovsk warehousing complex. According to Exilenova+ monitoring channel, Kotovsk hub is one of the marketplace's main distribution nodes in Central Russia, with full-capacity projections to handle 54 million units of consumer goods.

The attack on the oil refinery and logistics hub is expected to have a significant impact on Russia's domestic fuel supply chain and distribution network.
