Ukrainian drones strike Russia’s Lipetsk region, killing two. Wildberries warehouse hit again in Tambov region.

Ukrainian drones targeted a residential home in Lipetsk, resulting in the death of a man and a 14-year-old teenager, as reported by Lipetsk Governor Igor Artamonov. The victims were severely burned in the ensuing fire, with two women sustaining injuries and being hospitalized. Additionally, Ukrainian drones struck a Wildberries warehouse in Kotovsk, located in the Tambov region, triggering a fire that engulfed over 100,000 square meters of the facility.

Employees were swiftly evacuated, and one individual was reported injured. RWB, the company behind Wildberries, confirmed the attack and disclosed that the logistics center had ceased accepting new shipments of goods. The Kotovsk warehouse was among the initial targets when Ukraine commenced their assaults on Wildberries facilities in mid-July.

Local Mayor Alexei Plakhotnikov recommended residents to restrict "active movement" within the city for the following two days and to keep their windows shut due to the dense smoke and smog. Reports from Ukrainian monitoring channels suggest that the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery in Kstovo, situated in the Nizhny Novgorod region, also sustained a fire following the night-time assaults.
