Thai school choir makes history with gold at World Choir Games

In a groundbreaking achievement, Thailand's Chulada Choir has become the first secondary school choir from the nation to secure a gold medal at the prestigious 14th World Choir Games held in Sweden. The choir, representing Chulalongkorn University Demonstration Secondary School, clinched the top spot in the Youth Choirs of Equal Voices category with an impressive score of 87.75 points. Additionally, the choir earned a silver medal, garnering 79.25 points in the Sacred Choral Music a Cappella competition.

The World Choir Games, which took place from August 10 to August 16 in Helsingborg, Sweden, gathered an extensive lineup of choirs from across the globe, making it a truly international event.
