KBC 18: Daily wage labourer who earns Rs 500 per day to answer Rs 50 lakh question

Kaun Banega Crorepati 18 contestant Vishal Premchand Rathod, a daily wage laborer from Washim, Maharashtra, won Rs 5 lakh during Tuesday's episode of the show. Accompanied by his parents and two sisters, Vishal broke down in tears upon being selected to play the game. He works as a daily wage laborer, earning Rs 500-600 per day, but struggles to find work regularly.

On the show, Vishal answered a Rs 5 lakh question correctly, selecting the Assam Regiment as the answer to the query about the animal insignia on the Indian army unit's uniform. Despite his financial hardships, Vishal has been preparing for the MPSC (Maharashtra Public Service Commission) exam for three years but lacks the finances to fully dedicate himself to the exam.

His family, including his mother who works as a cleaner, struggles to pay their Rs 7,000 rent each month. Vishal's father, now 56 years old, and his mother, 48 years old, desperately seek a stable income for their family. Amitabh Bachchan urged the audience to help Vishal find a job during the episode. Vishal will attempt to answer a Rs 50 lakh question on the upcoming Wednesday's episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 18.
