Microsoft partners with Razer, 8BitDo, and Backbone on Xbox 25th anniversary collection

Microsoft has teamed up with Razer, 8BitDo, and Backbone to create a 25th anniversary collection of accessories for its Xbox Series X console. The "Designed for Xbox 25th Anniversary Collection" includes a Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K mouse, a Razer BlackWidow V4 75% mechanical keyboard, and Razer Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed earbuds, all in translucent green.

An 8BitDo Ultimate Charging Dock for Xbox controllers and Backbone Pro mobile controllers in heritage colorways (excluding green) are also part of the set. A Sling Bag from PowerA and a GameSir X5 Lite mobile controller in Xbox green are included as well. These accessories are limited edition versions of existing products with a slight price increase.

The Razer gear costs $20 more than the standard versions. Microsoft's limited-edition Xbox Series X, available in a translucent green shell, was announced earlier in June. Priced at around $899, it's set to launch in November to mark the console's 25th anniversary. The ongoing memory crisis has led to significant price hikes in home game consoles, making new consoles unaffordable for many prospective gamers.
