Their findings revealed that altering the glycolysis pathway, a crucial metabolic process, could reduce the production of IL-6, IL-10, and TNFa, all cytokines implicated in DLBCL.

Moreover, the study uncovered that two distinct subtypes of DLBCL exhibited unique metabolic reactions to IL-4, a cytokine known to stimulate B-cell proliferation. The study concludes that metabolic pathways might be instrumental in regulating cytokine production in DLBCL.
