Man City complete the signing of Ayyoub Bouaddi

Manchester City has finalized the signing of 18-year-old Moroccan midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi for an initial fee of €95 million, or approximately £81.3 million. The club has pursued the highly-talented player throughout the summer and has now secured his services. A five-year contract has been agreed upon, making Bouaddi the youngest member of City's upcoming squad.

This signing marks the fourth addition to the team this summer, following the arrivals of Elliot Anderson, Jeremy Monga, and Gerónimo Rulli. Under the leadership of new manager Enzo Maresca, Manchester City appears set for a significant transformation.

Bouaddi, who honed his skills through Lille's academy, shared his excitement about joining the Manchester side, emphasizing his commitment to the future success of the club. He expressed his determination to give his all for the team, stating, "We know that in the great club we need to win. We are going to see what’s going to happen. What’s important is that I’m going to give 100%, be always here for the team and then it’s the future."

The young midfielder reiterated the importance of winning in a top-tier club, emphasizing, "In a big club you need to win and this is all that we are going to do. We are going to give 100% to achieve all of our goals."

Before arriving at City, Bouaddi spent a considerable amount of time developing his skills at Lille, where he made a total of 95 appearances for the club.
