Fury resumes training amid Joshua fight doubts

Tyson Fury has returned to training in Miami, despite ongoing doubts surrounding his potential bout with fellow British boxer Anthony Joshua. Promoters insist the fight is still on track, but a dispute over the venue remains unresolved. Fury's promoter, Frank Warren, stated that Alalshikh, the Saudi financier, would soon announce final details, and outstanding issues between Matchroom and Joshua's camp would be resolved.

While Wembley Stadium was initially considered for the fight, moving it to the United States has created tension between the camps, with commercial interests and a larger global television audience favoring the American option. Joshua's contract demands the fight take place in the United Kingdom, but Netflix and Alalshikh prefer an American staging.

Eddie Hearn, Matchroom Boxing's promoter, described the coming days as a "crunch week" in negotiations, warning that the bout could be delayed to December, an outcome both parties wish to avoid.
