2 Adun Bersatu sokong pimpinan MB Pahang

Two Bersatu politicians from Pahang have expressed their support for the leadership of Pahang's Chief Minister, Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail. Adun Kuala Sentul Jasri Jamaludin and Adun Lepar Mohd Yazid Mohd Yunus have jointly announced that the decision to endorse Wan Rosdy's leadership has been approved by the Barisan Nasional (BN) party, taking into account the need to ensure political stability in the state.

With the agreement reached with the Pahang Chief Minister, they believe that development and welfare of the people in Kuala Sentul and Lepar constituencies will be prioritized by the Pahang government. They pledged to continue their duty as responsible representatives of the people, working closely with state administration, according to the statement.

They emphasized that the dynamic political situation, the interests of the people, state stability, and the smooth running of governance should always be paramount. In the 2015 General Election, both the Barisan Nasional (BN) and Perikatan Nasional (PN) parties won 17 seats in Pahang each, while the remaining eight constituencies went to Pakatan Harapan (PH), with BN-PH forming the state government together. The remaining two seats were won by BN and shared between PAS and another Bersatu representative.
