VIDEO: Support APC or leave Kuje, council chairman threatens residents

The chairman of Kuje Area Council in the FCT, Samuel Shekwolo, has warned residents against voting against the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections, or else they must leave the council. In a video posted on social media, Shekwolo addressed his followers and constituents, asserting that the APC's developmental efforts under President Bola Tinubu and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike should be taken into account when deciding their vote.

He asserted that residents would not be able to reap the benefits of the administration's interventions if they voted against the APC. "You know why, I cannot have President and Minister doing what they are doing and on the day of election, you will want to match me. It's either you are with us, or you are out," he stated. This warning has raised concerns regarding the use of aggressive political rhetoric among public officials as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 elections.
