Tyrese Haliburton discusses bond with Colts QB Daniel Jones after both tore their Achilles

Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton recently discussed his bond with Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones, both of whom tore their Achilles tendons. Haliburton, who suffered his injury during the NBA Finals in June 2025, opened up about their recovery process at the Pacers Foundation Charity Softball Classic. He revealed they have been talking frequently, as they share the same surgeon.

Haliburton expressed excitement to see Jones return, and he plans to be present as much as possible to support his teammate. Haliburton acknowledged a significant difference in their recovery timelines, with Jones returning to action nine months after his injury, compared to Haliburton's return in October 2025.
