Imran Khan says he was ‘miserable’ after receiving his biggest fee: ‘Won’t do it for double money’

Dubai: Actor Salman Khan personally stepped in to assist his longtime body double, Parvez Kazi, after the man fell ill and underwent a minor heart procedure earlier this month, India Today reported. The health scare occurred on August 6, when Kazi first felt unwell at home and subsequently sought medical attention. Kazi's manager, Piyush, clarified to India Today that contrary to earlier reports, Kazi did not suffer a heart attack, nor was he ill on set.

He had initially felt unwell at home, visited a medical professional, and was later admitted to the hospital following a series of tests. Upon learning of Kazi's condition, Salman immediately took charge of the situation, handling all aspects of his treatment, including the medical care. Kazi has a striking resemblance to Salman, with their manager describing Salman as their "younger brother," who immediately took action upon hearing about the health scare.

Kazi is now "absolutely fine" and has been advised to rest for a few days before resuming work. The upcoming action entertainer, titled "Monster" and featuring Nayanthara, is currently in the middle of a six-week Mumbai schedule, with three major action set-pieces planned and a Korean action team involved in designing the film's stunts.

The health scare had initially prompted speculation that Salman would take on a larger share of the action sequences while his double recovered, leading to a reorganization of the stunt schedule with additional safety measures. Kazi is expected to return to set shortly.
