Two children among four people killed in Gaza strikes, officials say

Four individuals were killed in recent strikes in Gaza, officials have confirmed. Among the victims were two children. President Donald Trump recently presented Congress with an agreement proposed with Saudi Arabia regarding civil nuclear energy. This pact permits U.S. companies to export civilian nuclear technology to Saudi Arabia.

However, the deal will only be approved if Saudi Arabia normalizes relations with Israel, according to a U.S. administration official. The nuclear deal, signed in July, could result in the construction of AP1000 reactors, valued at tens of billions of dollars. The agreement was sent to Congress on Monday, and if it is not objected to within 90 session days, it will become effective.

If Congress rejects the agreement, Trump retains the power to veto, which would necessitate a two-thirds majority in Congress to overturn. Critics argue that the deal fails to prevent Saudi Arabia from enriching uranium or reprocessing nuclear waste, measures considered crucial for nonproliferation.
