Trump eyes renaming Lake Ontario to ‘Lake America’ as Canada trade war deepens

President Donald Trump is contemplating renaming Lake Ontario to "Lake America" amid the escalating trade war between the United States and Canada. Ford vowed to maintain a united front against the US, calling for an "economic war" and threatening to cut off electricity and critical minerals from Ontario if the dispute intensifies. Ford dismissed Trump's insults, declaring himself ready to face them and stressing that "everything is on the table" for Ontario if the dispute escalates.
