PM Narendra Modi reviews cyber fraud cases, calls for regular capacity building

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed cyber fraud cases on Tuesday, including digital arrest incidents, during the 53rd meeting of PRAGATI. Modi emphasized the necessity of strengthening prevention through training, awareness, and education. He called for regular capacity-building of personnel to swiftly identify and address emerging modes of cyber fraud.

The Prime Minister also reviewed six key infrastructure projects in the Railway, Road, and Power sectors, investing over Rs 30,000 crore. These projects focused on connectivity, industrial activity, and public services, with a focus on timeline adherence, inter-agency coordination, resolving pending issues, and expeditious completion.

Additionally, Modi reviewed the AgriStack project under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare. He stressed leveraging digital technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, to maximize the value of agricultural data and urged further strengthening of the AgriStack ecosystem for better farmer outcomes. Modi stressed the importance of speed in execution, coupled with uncompromising quality, urging Ministries, States, and implementing agencies to adopt modern technologies and enhance quality assurance and supervision.
