Lazio Submit New Bid for Young Leicester City Striker

Lazio have reportedly made a fresh bid to sign Leicester City teenager Lorenz Hutchinson, an 18-year-old forward currently on an expiring contract. The Italian club has been searching for a new striker since the beginning of the summer.

Hutchinson, a product of Leicester's youth system, has been impressing in the U21 side, scoring four goals and providing three assists in 18 appearances across all competitions. He has also made 38 appearances for Leicester U18, netting 27 goals and delivering eight assists.

Eligible to represent both England and Jamaica, Hutchinson has already made three appearances for the Three Lions at the U19 level, scoring one goal. British football journalist Ben Jacobs reported that Lazio submitted a new offer for the teenager over the past few days, and negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing.

Given Lazio's need for a new striker, Hutchinson would likely join the Primavera squad to further develop his skills or possibly make a loan move to a lower division club for valuable playing time. Meanwhile, Lazio is also close to signing Sassuolo striker Andrea Pinamonti to strengthen Gennaro Gattuso's attacking options.
