Grealish back for Man City - but for how long?

Jack Grealish is set to return to Manchester City this season, despite his previous stint on loan at Everton. The 30-year-old midfielder is in the final year of his £300,000-a-week contract at the Etihad Stadium, and was initially loaned out to Merseyside in January due to an Achilles tendon injury. However, Grealish has since returned to full fitness and has featured in both of City's games so far this season, including a cameo appearance in the Community Shield defeat by Arsenal and the final eight minutes of City's Premier League opener against Bournemouth.

Although City manager Enzo Maresca is optimistic about the Englishman's prospects with the club, no guarantees are being offered regarding Grealish's long-term future at the club beyond the transfer deadline on September 1st. Maresca has expressed his commitment to coaching Grealish and getting the best out of him, but has also left the door open for other options, such as a loan move or a permanent departure.

It remains to be seen what will ultimately happen to Grealish come the end of the transfer window, but his return to full fitness has clearly impressed City's coaching staff.
