Fubara felicitates Muslims on Eid ul-Mawlid, urges peace, tolerance

Rivers State Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara has congratulated Muslims in Rivers State and Nigeria on Eid ul-Mawlid, the festival honoring the birth of the Prophet Muhammad. In his message, Fubara urged Muslims to remember the values of peace, compassion, tolerance, selflessness, and service to humanity. These virtues, as held dear by the Prophet, can foster harmony and positive change in society, Fubara said.

"On this joyous occasion, I pray that Allah (SWT) accepts your prayers, grants you good health, prosperity, and continued peace in our state and nation," he said. Fubara highlighted Rivers State's appreciation for its diversity and unity among Christians, Muslims, and people of all faiths. He expressed gratitude for the faithful's prayers, peaceful conduct, and contributions to the state's development.

The governor emphasized that his administration is dedicated to ensuring equal opportunities and peaceful coexistence for all residents of Rivers State, irrespective of religion or ethnicity.
