Eid-el-Maulud: Tinubu urges Muslims to imbibe Prophet Muhammad’s virtues

On Tuesday, President Bola Tinubu congratulated Muslims on Eid-el-Maulud, urging them to embrace the virtues of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Bayo Onanuga, the President's Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, outlined this in a statement titled 'Eid-el-Maulud: Tinubu Urges Muslims to Imbibe Virtues of Prophet Muhammad.' The celebration of the Prophet's birthday is not only a time for joy but also introspection, prayer, and learning from the Prophet's outstanding qualities.

Tinubu emphasized that Muslims should strive to follow the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad. During the Maulud festival, religious leaders are called upon to pray for the nation and encourage their followers to put into practice the lessons derived from the Prophet's life, such as devotion, perseverance, tolerance, humility, and selflessness.
