NaturaSi, the specialized supermarket chain managed by Fabio Brescacin, is poised to open 60 new stores between 2026 and 2028, aiming to boost its sales network. The founder and president of the NaturaSi Group, Brescacin, anticipates that the new outlets will primarily be situated in Northern Italy, such as Ivrea, Milan, and Bologna, as well as Southern Italy.

The investment required for these openings is estimated at 45 million euros. In addition to acquiring new customers who were previously hesitant to purchase from NaturaSi or engage with organic products, the company also plans to increase its revenue, expecting to reach 500 million euros between 2026 and 2027. The majority of the company's revenue comes from its network of supermarkets and its 175 company-owned retail outlets.

The Group is devoting significant resources, both financial and human, to support agriculture and ensure the availability of high-quality, sufficient products for its consumers. Brescacin emphasizes the importance of supporting and engaging in the national agricultural sector to address the weak link in the supply chain and prevent the closure of production companies.

The Group will re-launch its "Fair Price" initiative in September, a transparency operation regarding payments made to farmers for selected agricultural products, recognizing a premium for their work in environmental protection. NaturaSi is majority-owned by the Libera Fondazione Antroposofica Rudolf Steiner, a non-profit foundation that exercises control through Ulirosa spa.

Alongside the foundation, the company's shareholder group includes investors such as the Paravicini Crespi family, Bf, and others. Brescacin explains that their corporate model is a "steward ownership," a legal structure that, thanks to the foundation's oversight, prioritizes mission over profit, ensuring a more stable and consistent management over time.
