Dakwaan layanan tak selari CCTV, imigresen repot polis

Malaysian Immigration Department (JIM) is investigating allegations of misconduct involving a female employee at the Central UTC Branch Immigration Office's Pejabat Imigresen Cawangan. The incident, which took place in front of many people, has sparked controversy due to discrepancies between the reported service complaint and CCTV footage, records, and statements from the employee.

JIM Director Zakaria Shaaban stated that an investigation was conducted using CCTV recordings, related records, and employee statements. He emphasized that the department is taking the matter seriously to ensure the accurate explanation of events based on facts. JIM has pledged full cooperation with authorities in further actions.

Shaaban highlighted the importance of accurate and comprehensive information to ensure a fair assessment of any complaint. He also noted that while the public has the right to voice opinions, share experiences, or raise concerns about JIM's services, accurate and complete information is crucial for a fair evaluation. JIM is committed to ensuring that each complaint is thoroughly, professionally, and impartially handled.

Earlier this month, a woman alleged that she was humiliated in front of many people after a JIM employee was accused of stealing her passport while handling her at the office.
