Where are your former Browns now? QB Milt Plum

Milt Plum, a former starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, played a significant role in the team's history. Born in Westville, New Jersey, Plum grew up as a diehard fan of the Phillies and Eagles. He attended Woodbury High School and was a standout athlete in baseball, basketball, and football. After attending Penn State, Plum was named First Team All-Eastern in 1956 and was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the second round of the 1957 NFL Draft.

Plum played in Cleveland for five seasons from 1957 to 1961, helping the team win back-to-back NFL Championships in 1954 and 1955. He was named to two Pro Bowls, was selected Second Team All-Pro in 1960, and was the NFL Passer Rating Leader in the same year. Plum holds the Browns franchise record for the "All-Time Career Regular Season Passer Rating" at 89.9.

After his NFL career, Plum worked in the wood products industry and later settled in Raleigh, North Carolina. In a recent interview, Plum shared stories about his time at Woodbury High School, his experience at Penn State under head coach Joe Paterno, and his thoughts on playing on Thanksgiving.
