In the Bekwai Municipality of the Ashanti Region, the residents of Essumeja have received assistance from the Kristo Asafo Mission. The Church's new leader, Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena I, presented clothes and cash to various members of the community during a grand ceremony. The donation, part of the annual tradition honoring the late Apostle Safo, included clothing for 600 community members and 10 pieces for the elders of Asantemanso enclave.
Cash donations went to traditional leaders, elders, police personnel, health workers and family members of the late Apostle. Nana Akofena, supported by Lawyer Owusu Badu and Church officials, assured the community the generosity would continue in honor of his father.
