Zelensky highlighted that Putin had miscalculated the Ukrainian resolve, stating that their stubbornness is too great for Putin. He warned that Russian soldiers would be "turned into fertilizer" on the battlefield by Ukraine's army. Zelensky acknowledged the dire situation but reiterated that the disputed territory of Donetsk would not be given up.

He insisted that the world does not believe this would end the war and that Ukraine is no longer a victim but a combatant. Zelensky emphasized Ukraine's military advancements: "Our arms industry is now a giant that strengthens our independence around the clock." The nation is proud of its daily attacks on targets in Russia's hinterland, including ships, logistics centers, and oil refineries.

Zelensky also called on China, Putin's ally, to stop its silence. Russia must demonstrate that no dictator can threaten the planet with its outdated nuclear weapons. He praised the United States under President Donald Trump, noting that the U.S. has lost illusions about Russia and understands that Putin does not intend to end the war.

He also called for sanctions that would "make them squeak," indicating his desire for a tougher approach from the West.
