‘I remain in APC’, Goje shuts down defection rumour

Former Gombe State Governor and Senator Muhammad Danjuma Goje has firmly stated that he remains a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Amidst thousands of supporters gathering to rally behind him, Goje pledged to inform them of his next move within the week. However, in a statement released by his Special Assistant, Goje explicitly declared his continued allegiance to the APC, emphasizing his long-standing commitment to the party.

As a founding member, he affirmed his intent to remain with the party and contribute to its success. Acknowledging his extensive political career spanning over four decades, Goje expressed gratitude to Allah and his supporters for their unwavering loyalty. Despite receiving pressure from political leaders of the two major parties, the PDP and ADC, to defect, Goje steadfastly reaffirmed his position within the APC, urging his supporters to remain loyal to the party.
