human.tech Launches Wallet Protocol on Ika Network for Decentralized Apps and AI agents

The human.tech Wallet Protocol has been launched on the Ika decentralized network, enabling developers to create multi-chain applications across EVM, Sui, and Solana. CEO Dr. Shady El Damaty emphasized that this is the first chain-agnostic and decentralized wallet protocol that does not tie developers to a single provider. The protocol utilizes 2PC-MPC threshold signing, combining a standard enclave with Ika's decentralized multi-party computation network, which can scale to over 100 nodes.

This move challenges established competitors like Privy and Fireblocks by offering enhanced security and mitigating the risk of lock-in to service providers. The WaaP CLI and SDK allow developers to configure custom policies, including webhooks for additional security and transaction composability. Users benefit from a unified account that enforces security policies natively across all chains without the need for bridging.

The protocol abstracts network gas fees, allowing developers and users to transact on any chain using WaaP SDK fee credits and gas sponsorship. The human.tech Wallet Protocol is currently free to use with migration tools available for existing service providers. This innovation is crucial for agentic payments and finance, addressing the challenge of software having custody over important data.
