How to upload O’level result on JAMB portal without visiting CBT centre

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced a new system allowing candidates to verify and upload their O’level results from home, eliminating the need for visits to Computer-Based Test centres. JAMB’s Acting Director, Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin, announced this development in a statement on X. The Board has streamlined the process by directly verifying candidates’ O’level results with the examination bodies responsible for conducting the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination, starting with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).

To verify your O’level result, follow these steps:

1. Visit buyresultsverificationcode.ng.

2. Enter your National Identification Number (NIN) and click “Verify NIN.”

3. Choose the number of sittings and the relevant examination body(s), then click “Continue.”

4. Enter your email address and mobile number, then click “Pay Now.”

5. Complete the payment using a debit card or bank transfer.

6. After payment, enter your examination details (number, series, and year).

7. Verify your result(s) and obtain your Verification Code.

To upload your O’level result, send "VERIFY" followed by your Verification Code to 55019 or 66019. You will receive a notification once the result is uploaded, and candidates with two sittings will be directed to their JAMB e-Facility profile. On the dashboard, click “2026 UTME O’Level Upload,” enter your Verification Code, and select the required subjects, choosing a minimum of five and a maximum of nine, without repeating any subject.

Finally, click “Apply the O’Level Results” to confirm the upload. JAMB emphasizes that this new arrangement aims to make services easier, faster, safer, and more convenient for candidates, addressing issues like misplaced or mixed-up paper results, unverified or fraudulent results, and errors in manual entry of subjects and grades.
