Freenow by Lyft is introducing a trio of innovative features to enhance the taxi experience for both passengers and drivers in London. The trio includes Airport FastPass, Multistop, and custom road mapping, all aimed at improving trip efficiency. The Airport FastPass feature addresses the issue of drivers hesitating to accept low-value, short-haul airport trips, which often results in long wait times for passengers.

With Airport FastPass, drivers earn priority status when returning to the airport, enabling them to quickly enter a dedicated FastPass queue for their next fare. This ensures that passengers requesting short trips from the airport will be picked up without delay, leading to a more seamless and efficient experience for all. The Multistop feature allows passengers to add up to four intermediate stops to a single journey directly within the app.

This route information is seamlessly integrated into the taxi driver's navigation system, ensuring a smooth journey without disrupting the flow. Now available across all UK operating cities and multiple counties in Ireland, Multistop offers greater flexibility and transparency for group travel. The Map Contributors Program further enhances the experience by providing hyper-local accuracy.
