Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman arrives at Les Invalides in Paris, begins state visit to France

On Monday, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman commenced his state visit to France at Les Invalides in Paris, where he was met with an official reception. As his motorcade approached the historic complex, a grand display of honor began, featuring a procession of mounted French Republican Guards and ceremonial motorcycles.

The welcoming ceremonies commenced with the playing of both the Saudi royal anthem and the French national anthem to signify the mutual respect between the two nations. Upon arrival, the Crown Prince proceeded to inspect a guard of honor, an act of respect towards the military units participating in the ceremony.

Subsequently, the Crown Prince warmly greeted French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu, formally opening the state visit. Concurrently, Prime Minister Lecornu reciprocated the gesture by welcoming the Saudi princes, ministers, and senior officials who accompanied the Crown Prince. The ceremony at Les Invalides marked the beginning of a significant diplomatic engagement, as Saudi Arabia and France aim to strengthen their strategic partnership and broaden cooperation in various sectors, including politics, economy, and investments.
