Charlton Athletic sign West Ham United midfielder Flannery

Charlton Athletic has officially signed West Ham United midfielder Keira Flannery on a record-breaking three-year deal. The Addicks announced the news via their official club website this morning. The 20-year-old previously spent last season on loan at Charlton Athletic, making 22 appearances in the Barclays WSL2 and playing a key role in the club's promotion to the top flight.

Flannery, who has represented England at various youth levels up to the Under-19 level, expressed her excitement about returning to The Valley and Sparrows Lane, stating that she "can't wait to get started" and is eager to improve and build upon last season's success. She also highlighted the valuable lessons she learned during her time at Charlton Athletic last year. Flannery is now Charlton Athletic's eighth signing of the summer transfer window.
