Accountability forum will continue to drive development – Central Regional Minister

Ekow Panyin Okyere Eduamoah, the Central Regional Minister, has committed to collaborating with Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) to expedite development throughout the region. This pledge was made during a public accountability forum held in Twifo Hemang, within the Twifo Hemang-Lower Denkyira District of the Central Region.

Eduamoah explained that the accountability forum is part of government initiatives to interact with residents and provide updates on development projects and programs being implemented in their respective districts. He emphasized that this forum would not be a singular event and that ongoing engagements would enable residents to evaluate the performance of their local authorities and guarantee the efficient execution of development projects.

Patrick Fiable, the District Chief Executive for Twifo Hemang-Lower Denkyira, reported that significant development has already begun under the current administration. He highlighted these projects as evidence of the government's dedication to enhancing infrastructure and improving living conditions for residents in the district.

Lawrence Kwabena Agyensaim, Member of Parliament for the Twifo Hemang-Lower Denkyira Constituency, implored residents to refrain from behaviors that might incite hooliganism and disrupt local peace. He acknowledged that the district continues to face several developmental challenges and called for residents' support in initiatives like the public accountability forum to help tackle these issues.

Agyensaim stressed the importance of unity and cooperation among residents, traditional authorities, and government officials to foster sustainable development in the constituency.
