49ers owner Jed York pleads no contest to two misdemeanor charges in Ohio

San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York appeared in court on Monday, pleading no contest to two misdemeanor charges in Ohio. The charges included disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools. York was arrested over the weekend at a mobile home community in East Palestine, Ohio, near his birthplace in Youngstown. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond and sentenced to one day in jail, to be served concurrently with the other sentence, and fined $1,150.

The judge credited York with one day served. As part of the plea agreement, York gave $160 from the seized cellphone to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force. The NFL will review York's arrest under the personal conduct policy, as owners can face fines or suspensions for violating it.
