2027: We’ll Keep Our Campaign Promises, APC Campaign DG, Yari, Assures Nation

All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council Director-General, Senator Abdul’Aziz Yari, has assured Nigerians that the party will keep its campaign promises, according to a statement issued by the party. Yari made the assurance at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, where he officially took up his new role following his appointment by President Bola Tinubu.

Addressing the media, Yari declared, "I want to assure Nigerians that whatever promise we make during campaign, we shall keep to our promises. Today, we have seen him as president and by God's grace, he shall be the president come 2027." The former Zanfara governor thanked the supporters gathered at the airport, attributing their presence to a shared vision for Nigeria and spiritual support for the administration.

He emphasized the party's reputation for keeping its promises and asked for Allah's wisdom to guide President Tinubu's second term.

Kano APC Senator Suleiman Abdurrahman Kawu Sumaila has called on the campaign council to prioritize addressing Nigerians' economic hardships, grassroots engagement, and internal party unity in the lead-up to the 2027 elections. Sumaila, who is contesting as the APC senatorial candidate for Kano South, emphasized the importance of reconnecting with citizens, addressing their concerns, and healing internal divisions.

He urged the campaign council to approach the electorate with empathy, active listening, and genuine sensitivity to the challenges faced by ordinary Nigerians.
