UAE weather: Rain, strong winds and 49°C heat forecast from Sunday

Meanwhile, wind speeds may increase around these clouds, stirring up dust and reducing visibility in exposed areas. Temperatures will remain high, particularly inland, with maximums forecast to reach between 44°C and 49°C.

Coastal and island locations will experience slightly cooler conditions, with highs ranging from 38°C to 43°C. Overnight humidity is expected to rise in some coastal areas, potentially leading to fog or mist on Wednesday morning. The unsettled pattern is expected to persist into the following week, with the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea remaining relatively calm.

As the week progresses, conditions are forecast to become more widespread, with rain-bearing clouds potentially developing over both eastern and southern regions on Tuesday. Humidity may cause fog or mist in some areas on Wednesday, while winds could reach 40km/h and blow dust. Thursday is expected to bring another round of convective clouds over eastern areas, accompanied by rain and winds up to 40km/h.
