Islamabad admin reviews Rabiul Awwal arrangements

Islamabad district administration convened a meeting with religious scholars and representatives from various schools of thought to evaluate arrangements for Rabiul Awwal events. Deputy Commissioner Irfan Nawaz Memon presided over the gathering, alongside officials from the capital police and administration. The focus was on a comprehensive review of preparations for processions, gatherings, and other religious events scheduled on the 12th day of Rabiul Awwal.

During the meeting, religious leaders and procession organizers presented recommendations and provided updates on the administrative aspects of the events. Discussions revolved around procession routes, security measures, traffic management, and other logistical matters. Instructions were given to pertinent officers to ensure effective security arrangements and seamless traffic flow during the events.

Both cleanliness and lighting along the procession routes were deemed essential, with all parties agreeing to the necessary preparations. The aim was to foster effective communication and coordination among the administration, police, and procession organizers. Religious scholars from different theological perspectives expressed their commitment to upholding peace, order, and religious harmony during the festivities.

Deputy Commissioner Memon emphasized that the convenience and security of the public would be of paramount importance. He also mentioned that the arrangements for the 12th day of Rabiul Awwal would be made collectively, in consultation with all relevant institutions, ulema, and scholars. Joint efforts would be made to foster an environment of religious tolerance, brotherhood, and peace in the capital, he stated, urging all relevant authorities and departments to fulfill their responsibilities with complete coordination.
