On Saturday, Nigerian football stars Nathan Tella and Chidera Ejuke scored remarkable goals to lead their clubs to impressive wins. Tella, who came on as a substitute in the 65th minute of his season debut for Bayer Leverkusen, scored a brace and assisted a third goal in a 4-0 victory over Wehen Wiesbaden in the first round of the DFB Pokal.
Christian Kofane sealed the win for Leverkusen with a late goal. Ejuke, who had almost left Sevilla due to a wage dispute, made his comeback and scored a spectacular chip over Athletic Club's Simón, contributing to a 3-1 triumph at San Mamés and securing Sevilla's top spot in LaLiga.
