Serangan selatan Thailand: Tiada maklumat gerila masuk Kelantan

PASIR MAS: The PGA (Gerakan Am) forces have confirmed there is no intelligence suggesting a terrorist attack from southern Thailand entering Kelantan as of now, following a series of bombings and terrorist incidents that occurred simultaneously in three Thai regions. Brigadier General Ahmad Radzi Hussain stated that border security has been heightened, including reminding border officials to remain vigilant against any attempt to enter their territory.

He emphasized that they will take action if any such incidents occur. Regarding cooperation with the Thai authorities, he said relations between the two countries are at an optimal level, including through the Serantan Border Control (RBC) platform, which serves as a channel for exchanging information on border security matters.

So far, cooperation between the two countries' authorities has been excellent. Meanwhile, a review at Rantau Panjang near the Malaysia-Thailand border found that PGA members have increased patrols and monitoring at several locations, including the main route to the border. Previously, the Narathiwat region was under a curfew from 10:15 pm on the previous day until 5 am the following day after more than 50 incidents, including bombings, burning government offices, and burning tires, were reported in three relevant regions.
