Oyo congratulates TUC chairman on emergence as PENGASSAN president

The Oyo State Government expressed its congratulations to Bosun Olabiyi-Agoro, the Trade Union Congress (TUC) chairman of the state, on his recent election as President of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN). Acting Governor Bayo Lawal, in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on media, Sulaimon Olarenwaju, in Ibadan, praised Olabiyi-Agoro's emergence as a significant development for the association.

Lawal highlighted that Olabiyi-Agoro's experience, exposure, and commitment to the welfare of workers would propel PENGASSAN to new heights. He stated that the Governor of the state, Seyi Makinde, was delighted that a leading labour unionist in the state, who worked towards better welfare packages for the workforce, had emerged as a leader of such a prominent trade union group.

Lawal emphasized that the Makinde administration would continue to collaborate harmoniously with labour unions and their leaders to deliver better welfare and good governance to the people of Oyo.
