Oyo congratulates TUC chairman on emergence as PENGASSAN president

The Oyo State Government expressed its congratulations to Bosun Olabiyi-Agoro, the Chairman of the Trade Union Congress in the state, on his recent election as the President of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN). Acting Governor Bayo Lawal made the announcement through a statement released by his Special Adviser on media, Sulaimon Olarenwaju, in Ibadan.

Lawal hailed Olabiyi-Agoro's emergence as a commendable development for PENGASSAN, praising him for his experience, exposure, and patriotism. He emphasized that these qualities would play a significant role in advancing the association's goals. Lawal also recognized Olabiyi-Agoro's role as a pacesetter, consistently embodying the identity of Oyo state.

The acting governor commended the state TUC chairman for his dedication to the welfare of workers, noting that he has been instrumental in securing better welfare packages for the workforce during his tenure. He reiterated the Makinde administration's commitment to working closely with labor unions and their leaders, aiming to deliver improved welfare to workers and promote good governance in the state.
